My Dog’s Favorite Dog Collars
Hope you and your dog are having a fantastic day! I was looking for Christmas gifts for my dogs and these dog collars were some of the first to come to mind. I love them!
COACH’S Dog Collar With Novelty Charm. Collar your dog with a chic, colorful dog collar in sturdy, stylish leather from Coach. These collars come in black or red and are simply gorgeous. The black collar has a cute dog-bone charm, while the red collar has a heart charm. I know Berry and Wanda certainly have these Coach Dog Collars on their list.
Til next time!

Abandoned Dogs Suffer in Freezing Temperatures After Hurricane Katrina
What a wonderful heartwarming story about helping homeless dogs:
Abandoned Dogs Suffer in Freezing Temperatures After Hurricane Katrina
A tiny dog coat company on a tiny island in the English Channel responds to the plea to help traumatized, suffering animals in Louisiana, USA. Trover Dog coats immediately designs a warm “Katrina” dog coat made from recycled duvets provided by local people. DHL agreed to rush coats to area.
November 27, 2005 — “In Tylertown, Louisiana, LASPCA dogs are cold. These animals are outside and are so thin that they feel the cold even more so. A donation of 50 dog sweaters in size medium would be greatly appreciated.” An email request landed in Trover Dog coats’ in tray, which told a horrific story.
Hurricane Katrina had left hundreds of dogs so traumatized that they could not be rehomed and as winter has descended on the U.S. they were now cold, thin and suffering through no fault of their own. A handful of humans were tackling a nightmare situation.
This was a challenge, Trover Dog coats, based in Alderney, British Channel Islands was not prepared to ignore.
Whilst Toni, the award winning designer of the Trover Dog coat , set to and fashioned the “Katrina coat” which could be made from old duvets and sleeping bags Jane contacted Jeff at the Humane Society of Louisiana to find out exactly what was needed. DHL with immediate and amazing generosity offered to sponsor the freight costs making the whole operation feasible. The first shipment will go out November 28.
The legendary generosity of the Channel Islanders will make this a wonderful success story. The Americans cannot believe how far Trover Dog Coats, with the invaluable assistance of DHL, have moved in just 7 days.
Trover Dog coats now need sleeping bags, duvets (not blankets) dark coloured duvet covers or sheets and webbing tape to make these wonderful coats. Please send them to Trover Dog Coats .Alderney Channel Islands
Ambassador Textiles in the UK has already generously donated a roll of fleece; we are hoping other companies will follow their example and come forward to help us with quilted material and tape. We also hope that bigger pet accessory companies, better equipped than ourselves, will respond.
If you wish to send a donation to these suffering animals you can pay direct online http://www.humanela.org/contact.htm. If you wish to support Trovercoats in purchasing materials send a cheque to the Trovercoats Katrina Fund , Trover Dog coats, Alderney , Channel Islands GY9 3TZ
