Signs of Animal Abuse

According to the ASPCA, common signs of animal abuse include:

  • Tick and flea infestations.

  • Wounds on the Body

  • Patches of Missing Fur

  • Limping

  • An owner striking an animal that results in injury

  • Dogs repeatedly left alone without food and water; often chained up.

  • Dogs that have been hit by a car, or showing the above signs and not taken to a veterinarian.

  • Dogs kept outside in extreme weather.

Animal abuse is a felony. If you suspect animal abuse, please report it to the local authorities
