- Tick and flea infestations.
- Wounds on the Body
- Patches of Missing Fur
- Limping
- An owner striking an animal that results in injury
- Dogs repeatedly left alone without food and water; often chained up.
- Dogs that have been hit by a car, or showing the above signs and not taken to a veterinarian.
- Dogs kept outside in extreme weather.
