A Great Spoil Your Dog Idea

You thought that you had seen it all. Then all of the sudden you are passed by a car with a dog driving. Yes a dog. You see, Chloe, a golden retriever from Boulder, Colorado, loves to drive. But Chloe had a problem. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) refused to issue this driving doggie a driver’s license; it seems that there is no license classification for canines or any other animals for that matter. As a result Chloe founded the PMV (Pet Motor Vehicles) and started issuing Pet Driver’s License. And dogs will be happy to hear that the PMV requirements are much less strict; all doggies that apply are qualified to receive the license.

The Pet Driver’s License is similar in appearance to the human version. It is in full color and is laminated in plastic. The driver’s license contains important information such as name, address and telephone number. Although the Pet Driver’s License doesn’t actually permit your dog to drive a car, it is a really cute form of identification. When I received Berry, Wanda’s driver’s licenses, I was impressed with their quality, but I was jealous at just how wonderful their license photos looked. You can get your dog a driver's license at ChloeCards.com

Another Great New Dog Product

I found this product very interesting and can't wait to try it:

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Designer Pet Solutions Inc. introduces its groundbreaking StylePouch, a unique paw pouch that promises to take pet products into the future.

Designer Pet Solutions displayed the StylePouch at PETCO's "Back to the Future" 2005 Exhibit and Tradeshow on August 2-4, 2005.

The cleverly designed StylePouch is notable for its StylePouch paw. There is a clear cover in front of the paw to insert a picture or ID. Also, behind the paw is a lining where pet owners can keep treats separate from other contents. The paw opens for easy access to the treats. The stylish, florescent paw also reflects at night for evening walks.

Most importantly, the StylePouch comes with 12 disposable bags and a small hand sanitizer, so dog owners will always be able to keep their hands and our environment clean.

There is an attached clip on back that allows pet owners to walk their pets hands-free. For added versatility, the StylePouch also includes an adjustable strap that can be worn on your shoulder, cress-cross or over your neck.

There are two pockets inside the StylePouch where pet owners can carry any valuables of their choice while walking their dog, such as a dog license, keys, iPod, cell phone, money or camera. This prevents the need for an additional purse or wallet. The StylePouch comes in multiple colors, including black, blue, burgundy, silver, pink, and purple.

The StylePouch should appeal to the general consumer. This product will benefit all dog and cat owners, breeders, humane societies, pet specialty stores, trainers, kennels, veterinary clinics, pet stores, dog walkers and grooming services.

Favorite Dog Treat

If your dogs are Frosty Paws fans like my dogs, they'll probably be happy to hear there is a new flavor. Here's the press release for the new flavor:

Introducing New Peanut Butter Flavor

OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The dog days of summer can make life miserable for both man and man's best friend. For many of us, a cool scoop of ice cream is a refreshing treat that helps beat the heat; we even give our pooch a lick or two to share the pleasure. Unfortunately, ice cream is not good for dogs because dairy products are often difficult for them
to digest.

Dr. Ruth Daniels, Veterinarian with Canine Companions for Independence, points out that "most dogs cannot enjoy ice cream like people because they cannot tolerate lactose."

The solution is Frosty Paws(R) Frozen Treats for Dogs -- the latest in tail-wagging warm weather treats. Frosty Paws frozen treats are not ice cream, but your dog will think it is! Frosty Paws frozen treats were designed especially for dogs and are fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals that help dogs maintain good health. They have no added sodium, sugar, artificial flavors or artificial colors.

Pet lovers can fetch Frosty Paws Frozen Treats for Dogs in the new Peanut Butter flavor and the Original flavor when they shop for their own ice cream. Frosty Paws frozen treats are available in the ice cream section of most supermarkets and grocery stores. Both flavors are offered at a suggested retail price of $3.59. One box of Frosty Paws Frozen Treats for Dogs contains four 3.5 fl. oz. cups. Just pop the treat out of the cup into the dog's bowl and watch the fun!

For more information about Frosty Paws frozen treats for dogs, visit the website at FrostyPawsTreats.com. There you will find help in locating a store in your area that stocks Frosty Paws frozen treats. You can also buy Frosty Paws frozen treat gift certificates, bandanas, and Frosty Paws Paw-rty Kits on the website. The Paw-rty Kits are doggone good gifts for all your dog's friends!
